Early Halloween Sightings!

Post by Snoopy/Red Baron » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:11 pm

There is a Party Boy here which is probably the biggest decorations business in town. They just put up their Halloween stuff! That kicked off the Halloween season for me :) Anyone else see any Halloween stuff up yet?

I jut got three photo shoots scheduled for October. One of them is at my regular job, and two others are freelance jobs. One of them is an October Halloween themed Birthday party, so that should be interesting.

Catalogs like the Lake side collection, oh and spotted some fall themed items in Rite Aide.
There are also some Halloween things to be found in AVON. :D
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

Well, just when I thought it was safe to start planning for Halloween, my sister in-law calls up, and askes me to run CHRISTMAS erands for her. Christmas?? Come on. I know it's always a good idea to plan ahead, but I want to enjoy the rest of the Summer, my Birthday, my vacation, trips to the beach, riding my motorcycle and fall. I also want to enjoy Halloween and Thanksgiving before I start getting into the Christmas groove.

A lot of the stores around here have begun to pull out their fall decorations. One store I passed today had fake pumpkins and scarecrows for sale. Michaels of course has begun to put out their Halloween decorations as well. Nothing puts me in the spirit more than seeing stores gearing up for the Halloween season!

Andy, I'm not suprised. Everyone wants it to be Christmas all year around seemingly. I for one, like the rest of the year. I do like Christmas in December, but not in July.

Myersfan, I haven't seen any evidence of Halloween or Fall in the stores per se, but there are a lot of "back to school" sales, and tv comercials, and usualy those are shortly followed by Fall and Halloween.

But let's not rush it. I still have a Birthday and a vacation, and lots of motorcycle riding before the weather turns.

During my lunch break today, I decided to go my favorite stores and sure enough, halloween items are beginning to show up on store shelves, already!

You could always comment back and say "Alright, I'll do some Christmas errands for you if you'll do some Halloween errands for me!" lol.

I wouldn't say that, there's at least one witch keeping the spirit alive.
