Halloween Stuff Already Up at Arne's

For those of you living in Houston, I was at Arne's Warehouse over the weekend and they have started putting up their Halloween stuff! Just a few shelves (pumpkins, costumes, skeletons, etc) but it was thrilling to see! For those of you that have never been, its like the Wal-mart of party and house supplies in a huge warehouse.

Sounds like an awesome place. My wife lived in Houston. I'll have to ask her if she's been there.

Garden Ridge has some stuff out now too. You guys got those down there? We have a few up here in Dallas. They always put out holiday stuff months before. Last year they had all the Halloween stuff up by July and Xmas stuff out by August.

I went there yesterday and got a Jack-o-Lantern scented candle and 3 votive candle holders: a ghost, a black cat and a JOL

They don't have costumes or major decor out yet but they will soon! They do have a lot of autumn things though. Scarecrows, etc.

I just got back from Michael's Crafts and picked up some Fall items along with the 4th of July stuff that I originally went there for

I can not believe how early some stores put up stuff! They must know that some people love this holiday around this time of year and all year. I have not seen anyhing around here yet.

The craft stores do it about one season early so that people who like to make things have time to work on their stuff.
If they put out fall items on September 21st you wouldn't have too much time to work!

As for Halloween merchandise in summer...you are most likely correct, it's for us Halloween maniacs

I LOVE the first signs of Halloween stuff appearing at stores. Almost more than when it is out in full force. I guess its the anticipation. I'm headin to Garden Ridge!

It's like when you see the very first bloom in late winter, you know spring is just around the bend...

...except it a zombie bloom and you should probably run away in terror.

They have even more stuff up at Garden Ridge now. Just more small Halloween items but I see the empty rows of shelves where the rest is gonna go. They always have a huge section. I went to Michael's as well. They just have the autumn stuff out, but a nice selection.

It's weird and I'm probably alone on this one, but I tend to obsess about Halloween so much and start decorating so early that by about mid-October I'm just not as excited about it. It all comes back a day or two before the big day though, but there's always that period where I guess I burn myself out. Same with Christmas.

Went to MIchael's again...got some little Halloween candy holders.

They have all of the Lemax stuff out, plugged in and volume up to high!!

I live in Houston also and I went to Micheal's yesterday to see if they had any Halloween stuff ready. When I got there, they were just starting to unpack so I couldn't buy anything yet but I was really excited.

I went to Michael's again and they had some Halloween stuff.

They didn't have everything out but maybe soon they will put the rest up. I will try to post some pics later.

Na I'm the excat same way minus the christmas. There's just so much hype that you bulid up too. I'm readdy to go dig out my stuff right now.
