I got more floating around here somewhere, as soon as they fly by I'll grab em and put them on here.
Speaking of Michael's I spend over $100  today on Halloween stuff. They have a pretty good selection out right now here in TN.

Hey Sweet lil Vampire, Love the pictures of your babies, thats awesome that you make your own props also. :D Doesn't take much to spend any kind of money in Michael's does it. Do your prices of the items there show the Canadian Prices as well? Ours shows both the US & Cad prices right on the items, and I tell you, I am so green with envy of your guys. Say for example an item there is $1.49, it's $3.99 or $4.99 here  Last time I went, I added up what it would have cost me in US dollars, then what I was actually going to have to pay, I'll tell you, I'll never do that again, too darn depressing

Yes it does show both prices. We do have it cheaper here.
I put some stuff back and still spent to much, but I love my passion. I have to feed it. Some of the stuff I put back were things I was looking at and thought I can make this for much cheaper.
I get stuff that will last a long time that I can pack up or I won't get it.

SLV-to answer your question-your status changes depending on how many posts you make-the more you make, the higher the status is. I am not sure what the highest is or where you can find how many posts bump you to the next level. Mine is Master Reaper as I have posted 195 times-the more you post, the faster you will creep up there!! It looks like right now you are currently a zombie (underneath your screen name) HTH :)

Plus all new tombstones with pirate epitaphs, a tree for my dining room to replace the one I took apart, a tree stump for my trash can trauma that I made with the Florida Haunters Group, plenty of groundbreaker corpses, etc. I have a LOT of props to make this year. THat's the only bad part about changing themes from year to year.
I really would like to see pics of this when you are don, as I would LOVE to do a pirate graveyard! It is really my dream scene, and I am just getting started. I have been reading several posts, and I am so happy to have found this forum...Thanks in advance for all the helpful tips and tricks ladies!

Welllll........ unfortunately I gave the pirate theme up, so I've only done the tree and some other stuff. Nothing Piratey though. :-/

Ok, just saw the props..OMG! those are freaking awesome! I love the rocks, and the ....well, everything! I want a house down the road from you! Just so I can admire your stuff! Great job !

As for Pirate stuff
You can use the same technique you did on the rock and skull and make duplicates right? Well, I found some very awesome 5ft pirates at Big Lots and one at Spencers for about $15-$20, you could probably make a whole ship's crew out of two, by adding different clothing and accessories...or, you could just use that skull that you already have, and get some(or make some) bones, or skeletons. I think Dollar Tree, or your local everything's a buck store would have those now.
