Awesome site! I definitely want to visitsome of those places. But if there is really good activity like people in mirrors or books flying of shelves, you can't get me to stay there for one hour! And if you say you can stay longer, you are braver than I am!

I'm middle of the road on this one. I would like to see a ghost, but not have it toss stuff around.Ghost wrote:Awesome site! I definitely want to visitsome of those places. All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Historic French Market Innâ€â€one of the so-called haunted hotels in the French Quarterâ€â€but never experienced any hauntings. We did, however, experience the wonderful hurricane drinks. Oh, and a must-do is the the small corner bar along Pirate's Alley, especially after you've had a few on Bourbon Street!

Re: New Orleans
If there's one city that knows how to do Halloween, it's New Orleans!!!
PARTY TIME!
PARTY TIME!
A gentle breeze rustling the dry cornstalks.
A sound is heard, a goblin walks.
A harvest moon suffers a black cat's cry.
Oh' do the witches fly!
Bonfire catches a pumpkins gleem.
Rejoice, it's Halloween!

Re: New Orleans
I took a cemetery tour of St. Louis #1 through haunted history tours. It was pretty neat. Lots of cool graves there. It was wonderfully gorgeous.
I also did a ghost walk of the French Quarter. Most of the stories were interesting, but you have to be careful. There's a lot of hype associated with some of the stories-- like one about a vampire murder, which I researched and learned was completely twisted around.
Still, if you're going to visit New Orleans, it's well worth it. That place is packed with fun. =)
... and just because we all like neat photos... here's my pic of Marie Laveau's tomb:
