It boggles what's left of my mind to think that I have driven passed there so many times and only just recently stopped to look around.

The Spanish colonial period is so much more colorful than that whole, manifest destiny thing-y.

A couple more Mission photos.

According to this , http://www.movie-locations.com/movies/v ... html#basin , I have now been to all of the local filming sites used in Vertigo.

If anyone can come up with a good caption for the garbage can photo please post it.

Andybev, that picture reminds me of Dick Dastardly and/or The Hooded Claw. Both of them are cartoon characters from way, way, way back in the early 70s and late 60s. Saturday Morning Cartoons to be exact.
