So, what are y' all cooking warm foods for this winter season>??
I love meaty chili with beans, beef and veggie soup, also chicken and veggie soup!

Of course, hot meat and macaroni with cheese and diced tomatoes baked in oven!

I usualy do my menu planning from week to week. Usualy in the Winter time, potroast, beef stew and baked chicken are nice. During the Lenten Season, I do fish entres during Lenten Fridays. Lent and Easter are really late this year, however. Ash Wed is not until March 9th, and Easter is on April 24th.
Some times, if I'm being really bad, however, I just might pick myself up a "Mrs Smith's" Dutch Apple Pie. And believe it or not, some times a can of corned beef or roast beef hash can be just what the proverbial doctor ordered.
My work schedule will also be playing a more prominant role, especialy since I started a business. I try to avoid fast food these days, so on really busy days, I often will put a frozen tv dinner in the oven.

Amen to the Pot Roast idea. Pot Roast, Carroots & Onions. Simmer in the crock pot for abour 12 hours. A great Winter bill of fare.

My problem with them is that I can't resist digging right into them out of the oven.
I'm simultaneously enjoying the flavor and searing the taste buds off of my tongue.

I LOVE stuffed green pepers. I like to mix chopped onions in the ground beef, and then pour a littl tomato sauce over the peppers as they are cooking. I usualy bake them. Both the meat ball and the green pepper comes out just right.
I actualy made Pot Roast, Carroots and Onions last Sunday and froze up about 6 meals worth of it. Yum!

Don't forget to add rice with it. Really good!
Anyways, baked spaghetti with cheese on top is good!
