Poltergeist (2010)
For the remake of Tobe Hooper's classic 1982 Poltergeist...
Anyhow, for those who forgot this was being remade, it's slated for November 2010. No cast yet, so maybe we'll gety lucky and they won't do it.
Well, if it is unfortunately made, who do you think will be in it?
I'm thinking Megan Fox or Miley Cyrus as the rebellious teen girl, Dana Freeling, 'cause they are so an obvious choice for their acting.... anyway, list the actors/characters you think will get cast in this. Not the ones who would do it justice, but the ones likely to get the roles.

Re: Poltergeist (2010)
if they do re do it i hope they get good "un known" actors and actresses and maybe creep it up a bit more that'd be fun to see.. but yea i agree.. no cheesy "her face is EVERYWHERE" actress. it kinda just dumbs the movie down to a stereo typical half a** ploy to rake in some quick dough off of some one else's big hit
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

"What we have here is a group of film-makers lost in time, unable or perhaps too afraid to come up with new ideas of their own, trapped in a purgatory of their own creation.... making a move that will never end, because it has no true beginning. Let this be a warning to those of us who undertake to be creative, become destroyers. File this under "U" for unnecessary, in the deepest, darkest office of the Twilight Zone".

I definitely wouldn't see it if Miley Cyrus was in it, SHE would be the one to scare the Poltergeist away! LOL

Ok, I'd love to see someone to choose a good troubling-A$$ teen girl to play in this Poltergeist movie!

How about Lindsay Lohan? She's pretty troubling
Although she isn't a teenager, she looks young enough to play one.
How about Emily Osment or Dakota Fanning? They would prob be scarred for life after doing a movie like that

Re: Poltergeist (2010)
Sweet, I didn't know that this was going to be remade. I don't know if it is a good idea or a bad idea, but this series was class, until it got to the late versions of the movie, the orginal is one of my favorites. I just hope they don't screw it up with some no name actors, we need star power and some pretty cool special effects....
It will be interesting to see how this one comes out.
