Zombie Food

Post by Nostalgiascape » Thu Feb 15, 2007 11:08 pm

It's simple really

You take stew meat. Cook and season it to your liking. Then place in a large bowl. Then you cook up a packet of Au Jus sauce and add it to the meat. Then you add a mixture of ketchup and a little bit or worstishire.

Stir it all together till it looks like you carved it straight from some unsuspecting souls midsection.

Sit in front of A George Romero zombie flick.

Bon Apetit.

I've actually eaten Meat Bowl without silverware before. You are correct, very very messy. But tasty.

I tend to get, Eeeewww, you're disgusting, from people. Then again I deserve it, cause I let the juice run down my chin to make a point. But seriously, you guys should try it...even with the proper utinsiles. It actually does taste good.

In Santa Cruz Ca. there is a chocolate shop named McKenzie's.

Aside from their world-class selection of all type of cholate-y treats, they make a life-sized, extremely detailed replica of a banana slug.

If you have never seen a banana slug, they are large and very very slimy.

They get the 'banana' part of their name because they are bright yellow.

The candy version is peanut butter filled with a yellow chocolate shell, which gives them a consistency of what you experience if you accidently step on one.

Gross-out food is very fun.

I think if I was going to make some kind of Zombie food for a zombie flick, I would have to get a brain shaped gelatin mold and make a jello brain out of it. Then I'd sit and eat that.
But eh, I don't know. I remember a friend of mine wanting to eat something red when we watched Vampire Hunter D though. Haha.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

In 'Pulp Fiction' John Travolta is wearing a UC Santa Cruz shirt with their school mascot, a banana slug, on it after they get done cleaning out the car.

You gotta love a school that has a slug for a mascot. :D
