Nobody is stopping you from making and enjoying a fort, kids or no kids :-)
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

you know whats fun, when you're walking past the kids and they are trying to make something like a tent or fort or what not and you step in and show em how it's done then they play in it for half the day happy as can be then one of them wrecks it somehow and they come to you and ask you to fix it, I love that.........makes me feel important.

Hey Guys!
Just checking in. Its been awhile. I am trying to catch up on chatter. I hope everyone isn't FREEZING to death. I HATE winter! I am already looking forward to warmer days. Love the kid chatter. My kids are playing WII as I type. Fighting like the loving brother and sister they are. It has been either raining or raining harder for weeks I think . The sun is scheduled to show on Sunday but only for a day.
Boo Hiss!
I am the shadow on the moon at night
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright,

Hi Shanda, nice to see you back here! :)

I don't hate winter, but it's been long and gray. Today we're finally getting some snow, so I like that.

It has been pretty quiet here on the Board. I left for a bit, Adrian is not here much now.
But we're keeping it together. We have a couple of new posters, too!

Pop in and say hello now and then.

Hello Shanda!

Nice to see your pumpkin face again :)

I loathe winter; winter is what 'heck' truly must be like. :x

Tomorrow we are supposed to get heavy rain and thunder. It rarely thunders here in NorCal and we have been getting a remarkable amount lately, enough to make me re-think my stance on climate change.

Brutal. That will come in handy when she's an adult...and in therapy! :P

Your kids and mine are close in age, Witchy. I have a 20-yr-old who is in Germany right now, taking a semester abroad. Actually, we have seen more of him (due to Skype) since he left than we did when he was in college 30 miles down the road.

At home we still have a 16-yr-old son & a 12-yr-old daughter. Daughter and I built a fine snowman last weekend, when we got a good snowstorm for the first time in many years. Son and I took a walk in the snow around the neighborhood.

I never watched Scooby Do as a kid (I think it was after my time), but my kids loved it, especially my daughter. I even took her to a Scooby Do stage show when she was about 3. She tells me she remembers it. I recall that it was fun to look around the audience and see all the younger parents who were clearly enjoying reliving a part of their childhood. I do think having kids enables you to do that. It is a great joy.

Yes, mine drive me NUTS on the weekend! Mine are ages 9, 7, 6, and 4. They tear up the house but I make them clean it all up, they moan and groan about it but they do it!!! They look like little angels when they are sleeping but once they wake up, they are terrors!!! LOL I love it when they go play OUTSIDE!

I agree!! Mine are older but still seem to make a mess of there rooms, they have to try on every piece of clothing they own before they decide what to wear!!! And of course they don't have time to pick it all up before they leave, that would be too easy!!
Otherwise they are great!!! Ha ha ha

Mine do it too, that's why I have a gazillion loads of laundry EVERY day. It would certainly be wayyyyy tooooo eaassssy to put it all back in the dresser, right? LOL My eldest daughter and I argue over those stupid skinny jeans, leggings and weird looking fuzzy boots that she HAS to wear, she looks like bigfoot! LOL
