I can't believe this discussion is still going on. To say the least, I don't think the end of the world is going to happen in 2012. At least, I should hope not. I suppose there is a little part of me that makes me nervous thinking about it, but then I have to stop and think about Y2K and how people were afraid of that.
It's true, the Bible does say that no man shall know the date or time. I suppose if you go by that, it's a good indication that yes the end of the world is going to happen, but it's definately NOT going to be on December 21st 2012.
I just hope that if it does happen, it's not in my life time.
I did watch the movie, and it was kind of scary. But some of it was kind of ridiculous too. But the way the rich treated the poor didn't surprize me one bit, and I think if the end of the world really could be predicted like that, then the poor would be left behind in favor of the rich folks.

If you are refering to the movie "2012," I did like it, but it had a disappointint aspect to it. Those stupid boats to be exact. I was hoping for awesome star ship scenes, and isnted they're boats.

I just heard of weird patters found in the arctic or somewhere.
Some people say its a sign. Some a say a planet kept a secret from us is heading to earth and should hit on december 21 2012.

I hope the world doesn't end in 2012, most of the food in my store doesn't expire until 2013. It would be a real waste.

I hope y'all don't think I'm a wet blanket (any more then some already do) but...the world ends every day for a lot of people and will, guaranteed, for everyone else.
I honestly think that people find a strange comfort in an end of the world scenario. You know, like it would be okay that when I died it wouldn't be so bad if everyone came with.
Perhaps because you can't understand how the world could possibly go on after you have gone...
That's why I am uncomfortable with gigantic egos, such as those who make it the the oval office, know the codes to doomsday.
