The requirements were that the videos had to be under 3 minutes long, and feature the character of Sam. Some of them turned out really well!

And there were soooo many beautiful and creepy pictures/photographs that people submitted for the contest, which can be seen at the new and improved official website.

Can't wait to see it when it comes out on DVD only one more week and half to go!

Somebody passed some links about this TRT movie, and it looks pretty awesome to me. I like the whole "Halloween customs and traditions" things. I think that's something that sould be incorporated into more Halloween related media.

Next Friday night I fully expect to be floating in my buddy's pool while watching this on his 52" TV. I'm even gonna buy the blu-ray so we can get the full effect. And... of course, when the really scary parts come I'll slip into the water and tug on his kid's legs. Hee! Hee! So evil

Last Saturday night my girlfriend and I walked in Blockbuster, we saw a large Trick 'R Treat movie poster on the wall. It says it will come out on this Tuesday, October 6th (TOMORROW!)

But the video store manager told me that will not put out on the shelves on the 7th of October. Can't wait to rent it!

Whaaaaa! I just checked my Netflix queue. It says Very long wait. That's the problem with Netflix, if a movie is popular you have to wait your turn. And my turn always seems to be last! I'm gonna buy the BD anyway to watch on Friday but I'm leaving that with my friends since I don't have a blu-ray player. So how am I gonna watch the movie 50 or 60 times between now and Halloween without actually buying the DVD? Stupid Netflix! I guess I could watch it online but the quality is so bad. This is the second thing I've had go south on me this Halloween season. Hope it's not the beginning of a trend.

I just got back from Best Buy with the LAST COPY on DVD.

They were sold out of Blu Ray but I don't care 'cause you can watch DVD on Blu Ray but not vice-versa.

Can't wait to get home...

I checked my Netflix queue, and it is on the "Very Long Wait" list! Also, I went to Blockbuster today and all of the TRT copies are out!!!

i received an email from amazon that my pre-ordered copy was shipped

I got it in my blockbuster que, says "available" which means it wont have any problems shipping to me, oh and it will be on BluRay....

I just bought it. I'm going to wait til tonight to watch it. I shall let you all know how it is. It's got a lot of expectations to live up to so we'll see...

I understand what you mean. I don't expect Shakespeare but I'll take a Ghostbuster-level experience.

Just finished it. I couldn't wait til tonight. The plot is decent. The imagery is fantastic. Hocus Pocus is the only other movie I can think of that really takes you into that Halloween world. This will definitely be in my October rotation forever.

Perhaps I'm jumping the gun but, for me, I'd say this is gonna be to Halloween what A Christmas Story is to Christmas. It really "takes you there".
