I've definitely gotten into the Halloween spirit ... I just bought the September issue of Country Sampler magazine and they show some really cool fall/Halloween-decorated rooms.
Earlier today I was looking at some of my pictures and, after seeing the ones I took from previous Halloweens, I'm even more excited for Halloween now!
WOO-HOO!!

My brother is very fond of dogs and would have loved yours, Moricia. He presently owns a Wrotweiler, who he takes with hime verywhere. I, myself had two Irish Setters when I was a kid living in the old neighborhood.

Hey Morticia!
I like the pic of your dog.

I still do have my own black lab, and her name is JD.

She's only 7 years old.

Oh, I grew up with an Irish Setter! Love Irish Setters.
My dog Brindle died of cancer last summer. I'd had her for over 14 years. I still miss her.
We also have cats, though--four of them. That's why I haven't gotten another dog yet. I want a dog, but we need to take care of the pets we already have. And my cats are wonderful, too.
I love those jack-o-lantern pics. I haven't seen any Halloween stuff yet. Around here, everything is Back-to-School. Our school year is starting again on August 4. Doesn't that seem awfully early?

We never knew exactly what Shadow was, whether he was a mix or a pure lab, we always leaned toward mix. We found him abandoned at Dog Park. Someone had been taking him home every night and left a note in his collar with a phone number. The rest was history. 100 pounds of hound was ours, but back when we got him poor guy only weighed 75.

You all have very beautiful cats. Mitzy is very lovely, and with a black cat around with Spooky for a name, it'd be hard not to be in the Halloween spirit year round!

And I'm sorry for your loss Morticia. Someday perhaps, you'll meet Shadow again at the Rainbow bridge.

All your cats and Morticia's dog, they're all great animals, but can we try to keep the thread on topic? Maybe we can make a 'post your pets' thread in the General area. Thanks.

I doubt it, in the year you've been away from the forum we never could...

Well, trying something new can't hurt, unless it's extremely dangerous.
