Sometimes cute stuff can be portrayed as scary. Honestly I like the inflatables, and I like kind of a balance between the spooky and the cute stuff. I wouldn't want to go overly cute though.
I bought myself one of those black cat inflatables last year, but I won't be able to put it up until I get my own place. Part of that is because of our cats...but the other part is...my grandmother would be angry with me if I did, as it's her yard. >.>;

I think some of those inflatables look pretty good. The only problem is that they can be punctured, and then you're out of luck trying to keep them inflated or patch them up.

I seen ones that I've liked but they aren't something I would ever put up.

I had a huge inflatable Jack O'Lantern that I had to use a Shop Vac to inflate, and it worked out for one season just fine. Then I put it away for the next year, had it all folded up, set some heavy junk on top of it, and appearently something sharp poked a whole in it, and it was no good any more. That's my only reservation about inflatables.

I think the inflatables are cool if you are in a neighborhood with alot of little kids, they won't be scared to come to your door.

Buycostumes.com used to sell these 12 ft. tall inflatable wavy guys. You know, the type busineses use for advertising? They came with the blower and they carried a ghost and a frankenstein. They were only $100. They no longer have them and I am kicking myself for not ordering one last year.

We have the best inflatable ever! It's Homer Simpson dressed as a skeleton. It's the only thing we have left to put up this year, then the outside of the house is done. Hopefully we can find it in my messy garage, lol.

I personally really like them with more "cutesy" decorated yards.
I've seen them be pulled off wonderfully.
However, they look bad if the rest of your yard is very serious scary.

I like to be scary. So no inflatables for me!

I just realized that Wal*Mart isn't carrying any inflatables this year at all.

When I was younger, I was DYING for an inflatable, but my mom likes scary decorations. I especially love the Christmas ones, especially snowmen! But I've never had an inflatable, and my house is so short I think it would totally block my house!

I have a 4ft ghost, that inflatable. My boyfriend bought him for me when we first got our house. He doesn't go to well with my spooky stuff but hes still so darn cute I cant help but put him out.
