Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

I usually start getting into ''Halloween mode'' around beginning of September, but I dont start buying or putting my stuff up till October 1st. Halloween stuff doesnt come out in the shops till mid September - beginning of October in the UK
Right now I'm really getting into my decorating, I've put spiders web on over half of my bedroom ceiling, and have started putting batteries into some things

I start decorating my room at the beginning of October, but it's not a big deal, just some little pumpkins, 2-3 witches that laugh and spiders. I'd like to do more this year, if only I had a little bit more time to do these things...

When I was a kid I had annual parties every year and I would start planning for them as early as March. It usually took me from March to October to come up with the money I needed for everything. Things really got into full swing for me around July. They still do now that I'm older. I used to have Halloween parties in the middle of June. I was at the grocery store Friday night and saw some bags of KitKats in a Halloween box in the candy aisle. As bizarre as that was to see that in June, it made me smile.

Usually around July, but this year my hubby was gone for work from Jan to May so out of boredom I actually started way earlier this year. I am counting the days for sure!

I was looking at the weekly Michael's ad they have fall floral in stock and on sale.

I usually start planning what I'm gonna do for Halloween right about now. I've been working with some guys that make props as a hobby to make a few different costumes. Last year I went serious, this year I'm going for laughs.

you know what would be really funny, if everyone on the forum dressed up in your best iHaunt costume and post pics after halloween!

Must have been quite a large store. Or are you perhaps out of breath due to some activity other than strolling.....?

I start around June running through ideas for my party. July and August I start planning out what I'll need, hammer out the guest list, design the invitations, and look for new pieces to add to my Halloween collection. I do the inside decorating around September and do the outside on October 1st, if I can. Yeah, I'm obsessed, what can I say.

I'm really getting into the spirit now, planning costume n decor. I started last month with ideas and I'll put decoration outside Oct.1st.

That would be funny spooky well I usually get into Halloween mode now im in it but the chills dont start until now cause i realize how close Halloween is. But since family tragedy last year and this year its been a little harder these past months but I hope I can get through it.

I usually start getting into the mood in early September, though I have inklings of fall & Halloween throughout the month of August.

I used to say, the beginning of school, but our schools are starting so early now. My kids went back on August 3. I would still like to be able to daydream about a beach vacation in August. IDK. Labor Day weekend, or the Tuesday after Labor Day? I'd say that's when I am full-on.
