Our Michaels only has fall & Halloween out right now, but I'm sure Christmas stuff will be out soon.

I'm happy my house didn't flood with sewage (again!!!!).
I went out back yesterday morning and smelled sewage, so when I saw a wet spot in the yard that shouldn't be there I did a little digging and investigating. Turns out our sewage line had backed up and (thankfully!!!!) the pressure caused a weak spot in the line to break and pour the sewage into the dirt. The huge hole I dug actually filled up. The flies were treating it like a day at the spa.
Found out this morning that when the city replaced the sewer main in the alley a couple days ago they missed our connection. It wasn't on the plan and no one was home for there to be water running. When they filled their ditch back up they plugged our line with dirt. We're just lucky I caught the problem and figured out what happened. The workers were still at the other end of the alley so I chased them down and had them fix it.
Worst part was, I called the plumber to clear the pipe when I thought it was just clogged and his snake went out the end of the pipe and got caught. We had to wait for the city workers to finish digging the alley back up so we could pull it out from that end. A fun time was had by all. But at least the workers were prompt about fixing their mistake.

I'm happy because I'm at work this week, I wish they would just hire me back!!!
