Your Easter feast sounds delicious! We usually have ham, too. I suppose lamb would be the most traditional thing, but you don't see much lamb in TN.

Actualy Ham has allways been our family traditional Easter Dinner. Besides, I don't even like lamb, with the only exception being the lamb that they mix into Gyros sausage.

It's already like spring here, and I'm in Vermont. God bless global warming!

I wish I could say that, RisingDeadMan. Right now it's around 33 degrees, and it's not supposed to warm up any time soon. In fact, we may get another 3 or 4 day cold spell with temps below 10 degrees.

I spoke too soon. There was just a big storm and now I'm walking between two walls of snow when I leave my house and go down the sidewalk.

This was at my house the other night. I was even able to make a small snowman. Climate change is real folks. It seems to be getting warmer back east while it's getting colder here in San Diego.

Yeah Spooky. I heard the freeways were clogged with accidents. I could hear sirens all over town. It was actually hail but it was a pretty good buildup. It got cold enough later for real snow but by then the precipitation had stopped. From what I read there's only been 3 times that snow flurries have been spotted in San Diego, though it's not unusual for us to get some on the ground at the higher elevations in the towns surrounding the city.

Boogyman, San Diego has a Mediterranean climate, or used to have. No seasons. There was a time we never saw lows below 40, now it drops below freezing quite often. We used to have an average of 70° year around but now it's getting hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. Been a few weeks since I've seen anything over 65. Very unusual for here.

The point is the earth goes through cycles. It will be warm for awhile and then get cold for awhile. It has always happened and always will.

This is interesting, I found a site that allows you to check what the weather was for anywhere in the country as far back as 1973. I have included the link for San Diego.

http://www.almanac.com/weather/history/CA/San+Diego.
December 10, 1974 the low was 46 degrees. The same for January 3, 1975. January 6, 1973 the low was 39.
