I love stained glass too, witchy.
I have been wanting to put in some over my stairway.

I rent the top two floors of one that is over 100 years old. I love it!
The downstairs has alot of stained glass. Just not up here.
I kind of live in a crows nest thing.

When I lived in Garrettsville, Ohio, I lived in a Victorian that was built in the 1860s. This house had so much character -- no other house was like it. It was located in the historic district of the village, and sat cat-e-corner (is that spelled right?) from the clock tower. We lived in it for 11 years. The previous owners had restored all the woodwork -- which was amazing! -- back to the original state. It was some kind of oak -- maybe red oak? If you built a house today using all that wood it would cost you a fortune. There were a couple of stained glass windows in the house -- not as many as I'd like there to have been, but the ones we had were beautiful. Now, as there were all those good points about this house, there were some bad ones. The floorplan -- or lack of floorplan -- was a major pain in the rear. Trying to accomplish daily household chores seemed to take longer than they should've because the house had no flow to it. With a lot of old houses, they started off as maybe four rooms and then over the years, more rooms were added. It's not like a new house where you have a floorplan and all the rooms are laid out in relation to one another. The lack of closet space was another issue. We had two closets in our bedroom, but they were these low closets that were deep. You couldn't hang clothes. When my house was built, people stored their off-season clothes in trunks and used armoires. There were other issues such as the heating bills in the winter and no central air. Also, when we tore out walls to do renovating, we found weird wiring. Anyway, it still was a great house to live in and I miss it. By the way, it's for sale and has been on the market for about a year. Asking price is either $179,900 or $199,900 -- it's listed at both those prices. I'm going to have to post the link so you can all see it. Oh, and it was the perfect house to host a Halloween party!

I have a grapevine cornucopia that I freshen up every year and I string the dining room light with leaf garland. I keep pumpkins around the house and scarecrows here & there, as well as indian corn and bowls of preserved leaves and pine cones.

Mostly though it's food. I put out a big bowl of different nuts with nutcrackers to munch on the week before, and lots of cheeses and crackers on different days.

I love your fall decorations -- they're beautiful! And I especially love what you did with your stained-glass chandelier. I started wrapping garland around my dining room chandelier -- it changes depending on the time of the year.

This is the house I live in. I wish I could just buy this! But regrettably, the owner won't sell.
