It's been pretty cool, comfortable. I'm still waiting for it to get even cooler though, I like cold weather. Can't stand summer

That particular evening the smoke was tolerable.
2 weeks ago we had to change the filters in the air conditioning every two days and all the doors and windows were taped shut on the inside, and this house is 3 years old with high energy efficient construction.

Right now, we're in what we affectionately like to call "Indian Summer." It was actually in the mid 80s today, and I had to run the air conditioner. I remember the same thing happening last October, and then when the 'big day' arrived, we had a blizzard, complete with 2 inches of snow, ToT ers being towed on sleds behind golf carts, and some ToT ers dressed as Santa, elves and rein deer.

Mike, that was quick thinking last year, the kids' going all Christmassy for the Halloween snowstorm.
We are having a delightful fall, many cool days, some rain, leaves starting to turn beautifully.

Here in my neck of the woods, we are in what we call 'that tricky' time of the year. It's hard to know when we will be running the furnace, and when we will be running the air conditioner. It was exactly the same way last year in October. There were a few times when I had to run the air conditioner because it was in the mid 80s, and then by Halloween we had a major blizzard, which incidentally, happened only 4 days after I had to air condition.

It's in the 50's, sunny, clear skies today. Yesterday was all rainy and gloomy, I like that kind of weather sometimes.

Well about a week ago I was running the air conditioner. Yesterday and the day before we were having SNOW FLURRIES.

It's been chilly and rainy the past couple days. We're supposed to be getting some snow on Friday (I love snow)
