I bought another one at Publix (supermarket) today since one of the first two has rotted already.

I wait a little because they will rot around here, too. So far I have bought only a sugar pumpkin.

Our store us piled high with watermelons! I guess you could carve a watermelon.
We live in farming country so there is no shortage of pumpkins around here. But, I have yet to see any canned pumpkin.

As a matter of fact I used my last can of pumpkin from the pantry last night, to make pumpkin bread with crushed pinapple.

It's dee-licious and very moist.

Ooh, that would be so good for breakfast!

Canned pumpkin is still in short supply here, but the sugar pumpkins have shown up. I used one yesterday to make a pumpkin pasta with vodka cream sauce. Good, but next time I think I'll omit the vodka. This morning I need to roast the seeds! First of the season! Yum!
