I have a few, I'll start off with "Hydrox" chocolate cookies, they were similar to Orieos but IMO, tasted better. Keebler bought them when they bought the SunShine company and then discontinued them

I used to do the same thing! I checked with Pillsbury to see if they actually do exist, but, sadly, they do not.Andybev01 wrote:Ooooo...Figurines were too good. They made them so tasty that I would eat several in a row, completely defeating their purpose.
Spooky, I believe the diet candies you're thinking of were called Ayds. I remember seeing magazine ads for them back in the '70s. I don't know if this was just a coincidence, but when the AIDS epidemic struck in the early '80s, I didn't see Ayds ads anymore. I guess at that point, they really couldn't tell people they could lose weight if they had Ayds.Spookymufu wrote:I love Zingers, the strawberry/coconut ones mmmmmmmmmm
Talking about died bars and such, when I was a kid my mom had these diet chocolates that looked like caramel squares individually wrapped and in a box.........I used to get into them and eat them like, well, candy. I wish I could remember their name tho....
I remember Giggles! I loved Pee-Wee's Playhouse ... watched it every Saturday morning.MacPhantom wrote:Anyone remember Giggles cookies?
They used to advertise them on Saturday mornings at the commercial breaks for Pee Wee's Playhouse...
I remember Zingers. Did they make a coconut-covered flavor?Pumpkin_Man wrote: I remember when the Dolly Madison Company use to make the Zingers before they sold it to Hostess. Zingers were cake treats shaped like twinkies, and you got 3 Zingers to a package. They also featured "Peanuts" characters on each one. The chocloate Zingers featured Charlie Brown with Snoopy. The strawberry Zingers featured Lucy, and the vinilla or yellow Zingers featured Sally.
