It's a perilous climb for one thing, and since it's where they placed a lighthouse, probably dangerous at the bottom. There are surf advisories all over the trail along the cliff.

I prefer rock cliffs and shale coastlines over sand. I'm still fascinated with all the little critters that live in tide pools.
