That was also one of the reasons I liked the Anne Rice books set in 'Naw-Linns'.

Did you read any of her books series, one of them is called: Interview with a vampire? I read the whole series, they were really good too. :D

I liked Brian Lumley even more if you ever get a chance read his books they are awesome!!!
The Necroscope series is the best!! :wink:

I stopped at the same one. Interview and Lestat were pretty good, but halfway through Queen of the D@mned the male-bashing just got to be too much for me. It was like, "Dang! If the author hates me so much just because I was born with a willie, why am I trudging through this schlock?!?"
