A lot of my friends call him a woman-hater, but I don't think that that is true at all.
His women are heroines for the most part.

Death Proof is good movie! Also, please try to see "Planet Terror" movie.
Anyway, I watched Anaconda 3 on t.v. last night and it was quite okay.

In this movie, Superfly (1972).... what do they call music? I know it's not a rap music, but something sounds like drumbeats... Anyone know? My grandpa did hear like that before, but he doesn't know what kind of sound like that at all... He believed that was back in 1970's.... maybe Blues? Souls?

Re: What Non-Horror Movies have you been watching?
I finally saw Toy Story 3 in the theater over Labor Day and cried like a baby at the end. It pushed every button I had.
At home we've been pulling out the scary movies already. I've re-watched Mary Reilly and Amityville Horror and some 1950s one--Horror Hotel, I think. We also finally saw 2012 on DVD. It was pretty good, but I think I like Knowing better, as apocalyptic movies go. In Knowing, there was mystery and some suspense, since you didn't really know at first what was going on. In 2012, it was more like, "Aww, s***, the world's ending!"

Does Science Fiction count? I've seen Avatar three times. I saw How to Train Your Dragon and Alice in Wonderland. Technically those are all science fiction and fantasy films.
I'm just not ready for Christmas movies until November. Unless it's the Nightmare before Christmas, which covers all the bases for Halloween and Christmas.

This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

I started re-viewing my DVDs of the Moonlight series yesterday. That was such a good show, IMO. Should never have been canceled.

I liked the Conan movies years ago. My husband had to drag me to the first one. I thought it would be stupid. But then it turned out to have a sense of humor. I mean, just a bit. I could see it in Schwarzenegger (how does he spell that name, anyway?). And my husband never had to make me go see another one of his movies again. I went willingly.

Also, the second part is Conan the Destroyer.... I heard they were planning to make the third part Conan the Troller, but they didn't make it!
Anyway, I watched From Russin With Love just recently, again... The Spy Who Loved Me. I decided not to watch it because I am online.

Has anyone ever seen Law Abiding Citizen?

That has got to be one of my favorite movies ever!
