What do you like to decorate with? That bucket of blood?

I like the one on the right the best. I love pumpkins with crazy-goofy looks on them.

I guess it is genetic then. :P

The one on the left with no mouth is absolutely sinister. It must make a parent proud!

I am so out of the decorating loop this year that I won't even pick up pumpkins until tomorrow, and for me that's almost like not getting them...if you get my drift.

You could only have out-done yourself had you taken the photo through a child's Halloween mask.

I started carving my pumpkin today but I won't finish it until at least tomorrow. I was mainly clearing it out and roughing out the shape. I'm leaving the face for later because I expect it to shrink a little and I don't want too much distortion.

I try to avoid doing the cliche face because everyone does them. It's the ones that are different that stand out. If I do a face I usually put in recessed teeth and complete eyes. The eyes are worth while because they really make a difference.

We carved a ton of pumpkins last night and for a change mine came out pretty good. I wasn't drinking
excessively since I had to be at work at 5 this morning. A pumpkin carving party just isn't the same unless
it devolves into everyone getting ess faced and throwing pumpkin guts at each other. Yeah.... I'm usually
the one that starts it.

Usually don't carve mine until Halloween, but I think I'll do it tomorrow instead. I feel like I need to stab something.
