this is another free style writing of mine while sittin here at work tell me what you think
These saving arms have held me tight
And tossed me to the prayers
Who've locked me up. They said "Tie him up!!" OH GOD!!
This is where they all throw me to the wolves!
Dried me out with crippled lungs, i cant just scream it
I'll tear them out to say.....
"This pressure is KILLING ME!!!!!"
NOTHING TO SHAKE THESE NERVES!!
(there's) NOTHING TO SHAKE THESE NERVES!!
I've gut out my thoughts to tear away the sins
REPENT! REPENT! REPENT! and REPAY!!
With the powder on top of me
I broke it down into apologies, like
my God where have i been (no, really...)
where have i been?
When the Devil sinks the shallows....
WILL GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Over look the deep where i'll be forced to drown in?
Its all in your head! Won't you (stop) take a look inside?
There's nothing but stains!! you could
Turn white in time
There are nothing but stains here... I've cut out the stories a thousand times
Are there prayers for the ones who will sink in all good time?

the Powder On Top of Me (poem about a past struggle)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I'm probably not getting it, but it sounds like the witch trials.
Creepy and very good, Adrian.

That was amazing... your really captured a feeling there, especially with the REPENT, REPAY part there. The breaking down and apology part was my fav. Your really good. Thanx for sharing that.
