No, this is Central State Hospital in Indiana. Or it used to be.
I'm not sure just the museum would be enough for a road trip, because the other parts are mostly all closed off to the public. But still some vibes around the place.

Adrian, you guys were mentioning a witches graveyard?

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

That's even better, Beladona, because I live in Illinois, and Indiana is not a really long put. I also don't need a passport to boot. I didn't know that Indiana had a mounted police force, though.

I would still, if for no other reason, like to take a motorcycle ride to the afforementioned museum and bring my camera along for the ride. I can allwasy poke my lenze in a hole in the fence or something to get shots of the closed off areas like I did up at Bartonville. And Il ove to ride. I may have to hold off until spring or Summer for this one but I am allways looking for haunted localities to visit and photograph.

Aha we're neighbors :)
We just have the mounted police for parades, neighborhood watches, that sort of thing.

Oh yeah it's definitely good for a photo buff. Very creepy around there! And do stop off at the museum.

I'm green with envy over your bike! One day I'm getting one!

I grew up around them. My cousin built and customized them.
He taught me to ride at around 14 or so I think.
You should try it out sometime.

There's nothing quite like a ride out in the open on a good motorcycle. I love mine, and I had it for over 10 years. It's a 1997 Honda Valkyrie. I would say that my Honda was the most dependable vehicle I ever drove. It has almost 80,000 miles on it, and it still starts right up as soon as I hit the switch.

It's my hope to take the Valk up to the sag next Saturday for my next Haunted Road Trip. The sag is a lot closer then Bartonville or Indiana, but it's one of the most haunted places in the Chicago area, and I can get in there legaly to boot.

If I make it, I will be sure to post pics to the "Haunted Places" message board as soon as they are ready.

Unfortunately my plans are tentative, because the latest weather report is calling for rain and drizzle all day long.

That's awesome! The bike and the trip.

I am really anxious to get under way, but unfortunately the weather channel is still calling for rain for Saturday, so it may end up being a car trip instead of a bike trip, and if it's too dark, then I might have to post pone all together to a day when I can get better pics.

But all in all, I do plan to get to the Sag before October is out, even if I have to take a vacation day, and I do plan to get to Bachelors Grove some time during the late Winder season or early Spring season.
