22 Pounds Pumpkin!

Post by iHaunt » Wed Oct 07, 2009 5:19 pm

Today I got a BIG pumpkin, and it's 22 lb! It's little heavy! My step brother gave it to me and told me that he got it from a friend of his, the farmer that raised a lot of pumpkins in Chesapeake, VA.

So I will get a few more pumpkins in a couple of weeks. 8)

Oh great! Thanks a lot! Now I can't get the phantom smell of cinnamon, ginger, and cloves out of my nose!

If I don't get some pie soon, someone's gonna get hurt.... :shock:

gosh.. what would i carve into 22 pounds of pumpkin? do you have a clue?
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

First of all, I have to carve that huge pumpkin of mine and I will take a couple of pics during the day time and night time with candle inside it.

I believe I will post pics anytime next month. :)

My late brother, way back in the early 70s, bought a huge pumpkin once. The guy at the shop was actualy going to charge him 75 cents labor just to carry it to the car for him. He carried the pumpkin to the car himself.
