You people are awesome!
I just stumbled upon this site while searching for Halloween-related anything, and its like I have come home. People think I'm crazy for decorating my house in August, but I just love the thought of fall being on its way and the memories that are ushered in along with the first cold front. I thought I was the only one that loved it so much until I found this site. You have infused my days with new Halloween spirit and have reminded me to enjoy the subtle pleasures of the season, and I want to thank you all for that and for being such fun, spirited people.

Super extra welcome, from a fellow Houstonian! There's another one here from Humble, and one from Dallas, too. Texas is well represented! You guys will be having to pick up my slack, since end of the month is insanely busy for me at work. Happy Haunting!
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Thank you for all of the kind welcomes I have received. You don't find that kind of hospitality everywhere. I wanted to contribute a little Halloween fun:

If I did that correctly, it should be a very Halloweeny pic. Hope you all enjoy this last week of Halloween.

Hope everyone had a great Halloweekend. I had a great one: we hosted a big party on Friday and went to the arboretum on Sat which has these beautiful woods where children go trick or treating along a trail. It was a cold brisk autumn night, perfect for watching the kids in the costumes and perfect for a brisk walk through the woods. Fall time at its best! Boo, more than a few times, I looked up at that treetops against the night sky to look for your witches...
Mhooch, I hope you don't mind but I have to copy your car, I just loved it!

P.S. Geekmidwinter: Since you are a fellow Houstonian, there is a Halloween Enthusiasts meetup group at meetup.com in case you're interested. Also, if you haven't gone, the Texas Renaissance Festival is very very fun! This past weekend was the Halloween-themed version. Hope you enjoy Halloween in our great city!
