Lucky is such a cute name, my cousins have a black cat named Lucky.
Oh well, someday perhaps I'll have a black cat. And a pure white one too!
Believe it or not...I have a pure white one too lol He's going on 17 years old and names Sam Buca...I got him when I was 2

Yeah I pretty much go with the same theme every Year outside its the Haunted Grave Yard and The Morgue inside where I give out the candy. And in my living room kitchen just Halloween stuff I really not that into Black Cats and witches, I'm more of a skull, spider webs candles that set's the Halloween mood. I have fake pumpkins, Purple and orange lights I hang around the house and pretty cool stuff I am planning on getting this year @ Halloween USA. I will try and post some pics.

Intereting question. I don't have anything really elborate, but I do have lights that I put up, pumpkins & skulls, a few plastic jack o'lanterns, and of course I carve real ones to boot. I also have a bat that flys around on a teather suspended from the ceiling, and a ceramic haunted house.

And, of couse, the most obvious, my house itself is 100 years old.

hahaha i bought a circle flying bat this weekend. it works really well. its eyes glow red and the wings flap (which i didn't expect)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

That's exactly the same deal I have. It has two flapping wings, to red LED for the eyes, and it flys around in circles on a teather that you suspend from the ceiling. The TOTers really get a bang out of it, especialy when it's dark, and all they can see are those red eyes.

My singing black cat was certainly popular with the trick or treaters last year. I love Halloween stuff that is somewhat interactive.
But my black cat plushies my bf gave me are special to me and stay out all year round. My one plushie you push the head down and it pops up and either screams, laughs, or says "Happy Halloween!" I love it! I don't bring those outside though, I want to keep them safe.
My more expensive decorations also I want to keep a close eye on so they don't grow legs and walk away so to speak.
That bat sounds pretty cool though. I don't have any bats.(Although I think I made a paper one out of construction paper somewhere) Like I said, I'm a black cat nut. But I also collect some skull things and pumpkin things.
I have to agree that pumpkins are definately the icon of Halloween, but it's not Halloween for me without a few black cats!
Besides, Pumpkins and Black cats go together like peanut butter and jelly:

*sigh* Wish I had a real black cat. But as I said before, I couldn't possibly replace the kitties I have now. (Found that image somewhere on the internets so that isn't mine. I do have a Pumpkin pal like that however that I found laying on a street corner one day. So I took it home, washed it, and it comes out every year as a decoration)

JOL's and pumpkins...dozens and dozens, of all kinds.

It used to be just JOL's but then it dawned on me that the pumpkins could stay out until Thanksgiving to extend the season that much more.

I have a good amount of small wooden figurines. Kinda arts n craftsy, kinda vintage, of ghosts, witches, pumpkins, etc. That and bunch of Halloween votive candle holders.

Other than that it's a mixture of all kinds of stuff. As I was putting stuff up this year I noticed a definite vintage theme, which is pretty cool :)

Pumpkins are my favorite, too. This year I have a bunch of orange smoke bombs left over from the 4thof July. I plan to incorporate those into my outside Jack O'Lanterns.

I found that I really like the vintage artwork. Some of it looks even creepier than some of the modern stuff they have out now. I did find a cat thing this year that has that nostolgia look to it, it even has one of those big smiles, I think it was supposed to be a candle holder of some sort, I'm not sure. It has a little handle on it like a small pail.
Well now that Halloween (and Christmas) are over, anyone thinking about what they want to include in their collections for next year? Probably depends on the type of selection Halloween 2010 has to offer.
