Hey....does Michael's still do their 40% off coupons? I used to get them sent to me via email but they aren't in there anymore, just ads. I would love to get some of those ghosts you mentioned!

Yesterday I went to Halloween Unlimited and they would NOT allow me to video or take pics of my costume that I bought while in store. Anybody know why that is? She seemed real flustered and nervous when telling me that so I decided against asking lest she get even more flustered and nervous. I am not pissed or anything, just curious. I will get some pics of me in it this weekend. Going to Scarefest and we have a Costume Ball on Friday night. YAY!

I just began fabrication on a couple of Flying crank Ghost marrionettes for this year. Its a pretty cool prop the ghost looks like it is flying in mid air when illuminated with black lights and built right.

Also, just finished a new fog chiller, and the pumpkins are just about ready to come off of the vines.

It's coming!
Jack-o-lanterns are on the cutting edge.

When I was looking for a prom dress in the local mall, I tried on a ton of dresses that were gorgeous but there were signs up EVERYWHERE saying "No Video or Photography taking allowed" and even the people that worked there was telling everyone over and over again that it wasn't allowed...yet every other store was fine with it.

Huh...just weird...

tonight at Kroger i bought some halloween candy for my guests bowl :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

amazingly enough, a new sweets and gift shop opened up in a town on the coast and I picked up this little guy and a 'killer pumpkins' coffee mug last week.

The shop is packed with very sophisticated merchandise so I just had to dream about any more purchases, until next payday...

I'm running to the south tip of the island next Tuesday to pick up some car parts so I'm thinking of heading right into the heart of the city (I absolutly HATE the city) and seeing if they had any kind of halloween stores...I'm pretty happy now :P

Raided Depot's cull lumber bin for 2x4s and some sheets of damaged half inch plywood. I'm making about 25' of fencing out of it for the front of the yard. I'm trying to do everything on the cheap this year; I may splurge on a "Rotting Ralph" mask from Frightcatalog, though....
