The leaves are falling off the trees here and changing colour. Not too long now...

The Dollar Tree has TONS of Halloween decorations now! I went there a few days ago and WOW! My husband got all pissy though and I couldn't buy anything : (
They had 2 different types of skull garland, bags of body parts, just all kinds of cool stuff, next time I will take a pic with my phone : ) I want to get those glittery skulls or just buy regular ones and do them myself, they would look great next to a candle!
I went to the 99 cent only store and they had a bunch of stuff too, I went in to find TimeOut Bars but didn't have them, they had them once and now they are so hard to find (only at the English store I can get them), they are so YUMMY, they are made by Cadbury.

NOW if you come to MY house you will see an early halloween spotting :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Party City is now offering 10% off on everything before the 12th of September (this weekend)....

But I have to hold my money until next month in October because you will never know they will give 25% to 50%, maybe 75% off! I advice all of you to save your money until the Party City is going to discount all prices in October first. ;)

My dollar tree doesn't have squat except for a just a handful of skeletons and stuff.
They did have more, but they took them down and put this big shelf up full of back to school stuff.
Oh, but they have Christmas stuff out. :?

However, I was treated to a nice surprize at the new Lowes in Town, Halloween stuff as soon as you walk through the door! It made my day. It wasn't a huge selection but it was a nice selection. I rather see a small quality selection than a large selection of cheesy stuff.

Wegmans now has Halloween decor, and a nice selection at that. I hope they get more.

My walmart apparently is dragging their feet regarding Halloween stuff, and evidently they already sold out of the bandanas they had. They have the candy out, I don't know if they still have their halloween craft stuff, but that was about it.

I'm impressed with Dollar General's selection this year, although half the stuff I can't afford. The cheaper stuff is cheesy. There's a little ghost dish that I think would be great as a pet food dish. Hahaha. I did buy a really cute kitty sign that says "Happy Halloween" and it was only a dollar. So there's a few cheap stuff that's good.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Got the new Martha Stewart Halloween magazine this weekend. I like how she makes it an extra issue now outside of her regular October issue. Also all drug stores in Chicago are now selling at least some Halloween stuff. We are officially in the season. I made some decorations this weekend and hung up some lights. Couldn’t wait.
Backward, turn backward,
O Time, in your flight
make me a child again
just for to-night!

That is awesome!!!! I would love to do a setup like that. That's very cool.

I went to Walmart and K-mart on my way back from work yesterday and was disappointed to see that the stores were in the awkward, in-between stage of taking the summer stuff down and putting the Halloween stuff up. Although it is nice seeing this because I know the stuff should be up in full force by next weekend.

I stopped by Michaels as well and they seem to have all of their Halloween goodies out which is awesome to see. I bought a few ghost stakes to put in the ground, which makes your yard look like there are real ghosts floating there. I'll try to post some posts of them later on.

I wish I had a micheal's around here. I've been to one before, and they had some awesome stuff last I knew. But I gotta go to the city to go, and that's at least an hour and a half drive.
