I think we should make an exception for motorcycles, and bicycles and of course, ghost trains.

Re: If we (Halloween.com) could create our OWN perfect town...
I like the school idea. It'd be an all Ghoul school. Ahahahahaha.
It's a little creepy that you can't leave though. I love Halloween, but I also love to travel. Besides, if you can't leave how do you get to experiance Halloween from other cultures? And what about shipping and deliveries and stuff. That would become a bit of a problem. How would the town generate revenue without the ability to leave the town? There would be no trade in and out of the town if you can't leave.
Here's an idea: What if you can leave during the day, but you can't leave at night.

This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

Re: If we (Halloween.com) could create our OWN perfect town...
first off this town is full of magic no need to worry about food lol second off... as far as travel is concerned... what if thats one of the main magical practices of our library we can travel in and out of our books even during halloween when we can choose to leave (if you want to) and go to the NORMAL world and haunt it for that one special night
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I kind of like that library idea. I also like to travel myself, so Halloween would be the night I fly my motorcycle across the full moon so to speak.

Re: If we (Halloween.com) could create our OWN perfect town...
Be it as it may, I think I have a bit of anxiety when it comes to being trapped somewhere and never being able to leave, even if it is a place I really like.
For example, let's say I went to a cool amusement park. It's fun to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.
I'm not saying I wouldn't want to live somewhere like Evilton, but I'd want to be able to leave and visit friends and family who don't live there. I can't do that by travelling to paralell dimentions in books. Besides, that would be just going to a dream reality in my opinion, not an actual one.
Of course, this concept is just a make believe one, and I think it'd make a fun roleplay or if someone had the tech skills, could integrate it into a 3D chat program like IMVU.
But I kind of like the idea of being able to leave during daylight hours, so I'm not essentially trapped in a Halloween "snow globe" if you will.
I mean, I watched the truman show, and I thought that movie was actually very creepy. It wasn't creepy in the traditional sense, just the idea that your world is a tiny constructed community and everyone is watching you. And, you're trapped there without knowing it.
However, assuming I am a witch that lives in this community (minus the uglyness and wrinkles) I could probably just teleport myself to other places in the world with my own magic. And yes, I would have the millions of cats. XP

DSM you CAN go to the normal world by the books there are books there (like the atlas) that can take you anywhere you'd like to be even with family

If it was through a book though it would feel fake.
I prefer my idea of just being able to leave during day light hours.

If you guys don't mind, I would like to have two jobs. The projectionest at the Cinehaunt theatre, and photographer for the town news paper, the Evilton Cryer.

I'm sorry, but why does our town have to be called EVILton? Can't you call it something a little more... Cheery? No wonder everyone else thinks our town is eccentric with a name like that.

But why is it called "EVIL"ton? We're not evil (At least I hope not.), the things we celebrate are not evil, nothing evil is going on like sacrificing cats to Satan. So why are we called Evilton?Pumpkin_Man wrote:Of course it's eccentric. It's a Halloween town.

It's not your choice, is it? Please, turn the caps lock off.
