Now that kids are back in school, stores will start focusing more on Halloween. Walgreens is really going to set it off this year, from what I'm told.

Badass! That's where I get most of my decorations. :D

We just got a Walgreens in town last year, so I'd never see their Halloween offerings before then. People kept telling me how good their display was, but I had a hard time believing it. I mean, a drug store? It blew me away last season when I saw all of the stuff they had. It was good quality and nice prices, too.

It sure is better than something that is usually in a regular store. They have great masks too.

I got a Michael Myers mask there last year for ten bucks, the same kind of which I'd once paid thirty dollars for. It was the exact same version.
They also had a bunch of 2 for $20 sales.

Yeah, I've seen that mask. If they have it, I'll pick it up this year.

Well, my dumb-<deleted> mother will begin to go back to school next week, but the school isn't opening yet... That's Teacher's Working Days! :D She made me so sick! She's now living with me and my grandpa.... please understand that my house is now belonging to my grandpa's! But he will give me this house to me when he will pass away anytime in the future, no matter what or when.... Anyway, let's back with this subject here...

Rite Aid pharmacy stores are starting to get Halloween stuff in as well (although they are not putting it out yet). You will start seeing it around September sometime. They already have a selection of Harvest items out which also includes pumpkins and scarecrows. Most of it is selling at 50% off right now @ least in The Virginia stores) Check your local areas. I know that Rite Aid is not in every state like Walgreens is.

I have also seen some things pop-up in the Spencer stores as well. The "Spirit"stores will open up very soon in September, I think. ;)

I saw Halloween greeting cards at my local drug store yesterday. I also saw some Thanksgiving cards if you can believe it.

They actually decorate Walgreens for Halloween. I'll take some pictures of it and post them if I can.

Me too! I saw some Halloween cards at Rite Aid, and also Party City has a few Halloween cards right now, but will get more out next month, perhaps...

Speaking of Walgreens, I just bought some of these today!

Amazing skeleton candy!

Arrrgh!
I can't stand it when they start putting out Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff before Halloween is even close to being over. Nothing kills my seasonal buzz like being greated at the front door of Walmart by an inflatable Santa in the third week of October...
Put the Turkey day and Christmas items somewhere else in the store until after Oct, 31. Just don't have it right at the front where it's one of the first things you see.

I got 2 new magazines this morning at rite-aid.

Create & Decorate 80 Projects.

Taste Of Home Halloween Party Favorites.

I also bought a rooster covered with real feathers that can stay out through Thanksgiving.

i went to ROSS today and got some pants for my Halloween get up!! and lo and behold... HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS!! i was short on money so i didn't get to get what i wanted (although i did get my pants... Dockers) but i did use what little i had to stock up on pumpkin spiced candles!!! mmmmmmmh they smell too good
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
