I have to agree with the "nay sayers" on this one. Of course, my personal beliefs about the after life come into play, but from what I understand about Thomas Edison, he didn't believe in any of that. He was a pure scientist.
A lot of people thought of his "talking machine" more commonly known as a phonograph as a "ghost box," because it records voices from the past. And many dead singers, performers and the like have been recorded on records.
