Re: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
TGP,
Why did you find this film disappoint? So you didn't even like this fourth part? Well, I thought I liked it. Even, if IJ fifth part is coming anytime and I have to wait until DVD.

I just didn't like the whole part with the aliens and it didn't have the same feel as the other 3 movies. That is just me though.
Re: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I know that some people didn't like this 4th part, but some others do like... Honestly, I do like the first part. Part 2 and 3 are OK.

I thought "Raiders" was the best. I watched it over and over when I was a kid.

It certainly did not have that "Indiand Jones" feel to it like the others did. I'm also getting a little tired of seeing Americans as allways being "wrong," or "stupid," or allways being portrayed in a negative light.

I know I don't. I don't get why they always bash america. Do they not realize that if it weren't for the freedom they enjoy in America they would not be able to do anything they do or be able to speak their thoughts so freely.

That's about the size of it. Freedom also has to be faught for at times. That's not to say that It hink we should be at war all the time, but when freedom or life is being threatened, it's necessary to protect it.

Yeah, it didn't. I liked the Alien plot though, it fit the 50s B-movie period that the film was in. There was something missing about this film, though. The CG work and the storyline seemed rushed, and there were quite a bit of plot holes. If they took their time and developed it right, it would've been amazing.Pumpkin_Man wrote:It certainly did not have that "Indiand Jones" feel to it like the others did.

That I agree with. There was a very good story to be told here about ancient aliens coming to visit us. The producers sort of missed the boat by rushing through things the way they did. They also would have done better toleave out their opinions.
