Drama Queen ideas

I am new to the forum. This holiday is my absolute fave!! I need help with my daughter's costume. She is 8 and wants to be a drama queen. I have the queen costume part down, but I need help with the drama part. I thought that she could wear a sash saying"drama queen", or a tiarra instead of a crown and a boa.....she needs her other 8 yr old friends to get it. Any ideas??? Thanks!

Welcome. That sounds like a nice idea. When I think of drama queen I think of a flipping out kind of a queen so maybe you could paint tear drops falling from her eyes to show that she is ....soooo... dramatic... just a thought

Or make her a little fake Oscar statue to carry.

Yes good idea Geekmidwinter...don't forget a tissue or hanky or box of Kleenex but I know you said she is only 8 so she might now be into all the little quirky details.

when i think drama queen ...gossip comes to mind.
how bout having a cellphone or something.
oh and she needs to have her hair dramatic....with lots and lots of volume.

i really like your ideas of the sashe and tiara.

If you can, have someone carry a fake movie camera and a clapboard. That way, she can do a little show like start to cry on cue and pretend it's being taped.
