Devils night / angels night

Here in Michigan October 30th is known as devils night or more recently angels night. So i was curious have you ever heard of devils night or is it a Michigan thing? Its usually when youths in Detroit engage in a night of criminal behavior, which usually consisted of acts of vandalism and in the 90's a lot of arson happened. So the city of Detroit created angels night where volunteers walk the streets to keep them safe. Most cities in the area have curfews for anyone under 18. So does your town have a devils night curfew? Or do I sound like a crazy person? lol

I think it's only in Michigan haha never heard of them doing something like that around here!

Growing up, we never gave it a name. We just refered to it as Halloween, but Halloween was always meant to be a Satanic day/night. So it would make sense to call it Devil's Night.
