Re: Pumpkin Ale
So I went to World Market and low and behold they had Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale out! There was a whole display. I bought a six pack. It was...different. It reminded me more of winter than fall though. There was more of a cinnamon and nutmeg taste. It gave me heartburn

Re: Pumpkin Ale
I love the Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale in the OP's picture
My favorite is Michigan Brewing Company's Screamin' Pumpkin Spiced Ale. This beer has a lot of spice to it! It's almost like drinking a pumpkin pie.
I bought some for the first time last Halloween season and will be buying plenty more this season. Here's a picture I took from last year:

Re: Pumpkin Ale
I just found the pumpkin ale last week at a discount liquor warehouse store. They generally carry more variety than grocery/specialty stores.

Re: Pumpkin Ale
Pretty much all liquor stores should be carrying the Pumpkin beers by now. The most prevalent one I've seen is Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale. It's made by Michelob so it's gonna be in a lot more stores. I recommend it.

I absolutely love pumpkin Ale. Try the Sarnac brand. Excellent.

Re: Pumpkin Ale
They should make pumpkin flavored soda. o.o I'm not a beer drinker either, but I like the bottle designs.

Re: Pumpkin Ale
I think Jones makes pumpkin flavored soda...shoot if they make turkey and gravy flavor I would hope they would have pumpkin. I went to Safeway last night and saw pumpkin ale, but I don't remember the brand I think it was like 7 or 8 bucks, I'll have to pick some up for this weekend.

I believe some wines do have pumpkin flavors... I will see if I can find out more information.

Re: Pumpkin Ale
I have had it before, it just tastes like ever other specialty beer. It is hard to find though.

Re: Pumpkin Ale
Well, it's not really made from pumpkins, it's usually made like regular beer but adds the pumpkin in for flavor and color. Most of the time spices like cinnamon and nutmeg are added as well to give it that "pumpkin pie" taste.Pumpkin_Man wrote:So let's see if I have this straight. Re: Pumpkin Ale
I bought Sleepy Hollow beer last year because it looked super cool. It did not taste super cool. Thank goodness I have friends that will drink pretty much anything. LOL
