Country music? Not the old kind where the singer wails like he just dropped a 100 pound brick on his foot. I mean the more modern country. Everyone else my age likes rock, (I do not mind some rock. But I am not into heavy metal.) hip hop or rap. I do not like them much. I like modern country music. Am I weird?

Just because you like something that your friends don't appear to like, it dosen't mean that there is anything wrong with you, it only means that you have different taste in music...that's it.

Well if you grew up where I grew up everyone LOVED country...and I was the one who hated it. They also liked rap and 60s music...which I also hated.
But then again most people did like Heavy Metal and Alternative which I did get into...but very few people liked Video game music and I'm one of those oddballs that does.
I think it just depends on where you're from, where you live, etc. etc.
I can't imagine you liking country though, dead man. At least not from that menacing skeleton you've got in your avatar ^^; Unless you found some way to make it all scary and eerily. o.o

I like alternative, but there's some country music that I like. My boyfriend listens to it, so I hear it too. I think if you like country then you should listen to it. Do what you want, not what other people think is the norm.
