You are rubbing in the fact for me that there is no Party City here!
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Ohh, that's right! I remember you stated that there is no Party City in your own area... so I suggest you to check Wal Mart, Big Kmart, or Target. If getting no luck, then I suggest you check online. Yes, they have Party City online at www.partycity.com

And/or, if you want to check out my Alarming Products online, then that would be fine because they have awesome props. I know you're looking for grave things, right?

I wanted to make a cemetery but we have not even worked on gravestones and we were going to a long time ago. And I never got a job so I have no money. Does not look like anything much is going to happen this year. Oh well. There will be others.

Thanks for the tip on Party City... I've actually got one 1/2 an hour away! The Spirit halloween store usually sets up shop close too, But I won't see them until September. I've been looking at tons of Halloween sites looking for bargains on props, and I also like www.hauntedprops.com and www.spookshop.com

Another really good Halloween site is http://www.frightcatalog.com/. They have a ton of decorations from cheap things to items that range in the thousands of dollar range. They also have a huge selection of costumes and accessories. It where I've done most of my shopping during the off seasons.

Idk about you guys, but here in LV the Wal-Marts have already started putting up their Halloween cards. Also in the "crafts" section they have pumpkins and scarecrows! Dude, I'm stoked. I cannot belive its already this time of year again! Even living here in Vegas, where its 109 outside right now (its 6:20pm by the way) its already a smidge colder in the morning. I left to work yesterday morning and it was 79 degrees. Then by 12pm it was 102, lol. Anyway, its here peps. How you feelin?

I'm currently mulling over ideas for my party.
I'm thinking of turning the main room in our house into a mad scientist's labratory with a mix-your-own mocktail bar, turning our lounge room into a haunted library, and the sunroom into a cemetery. I'm still wondering if I should have the entire party inside, or have some decorations and food outside as well.

This weekend is sopposed to be hot again then it will cool down. I live in Henderson, close to Boulder City : ) I know Walgreens has alot of stuff out already, I haven't been to Wal-Mart yet but I'm sure they have theirs out too along with all the other stores. The Dollar Tree has some really cool stuff too.

last weekend in the process of cleaning out a barn (wheee...) I discovered some boxes I forgot I had put in there to store.

I was in ecstacy!! Tons of autumn & Halloween stuff I had lost track of.

Happy happy, joy joy!!!

I was thinking of dressing as a bearded lady, but I live in TN so no one would think I was in costume.

I have a haunted hay ride/bonfire for about 250 people each year. I ask every family to bring a themed side dish (and a 2 liter drink) and I award prizes for the most creative dishes. I spend about $50 on hotdogs purchased in bulk, and add to my decorating from Oriental Trading, Party City and junk shops!!! Junk stores are the best! You can find old clothing to trash, old wigs, bottles of stuff for science labs. Go into it thinking...
