Look what I got at Basketville!

What do you like to decorate with? That bucket of blood?

Look what I got at Basketville!

Post by Rising Dead Man » Thu Jul 03, 2008 7:21 pm

At Basketville in Putney Vermont today me and my dad were looking for stuff to get mom because she is really depressed and we would like to cheer her up. I was looking around and they were selling stuff for Christmas, Thanksgiving and best of all......

Fall and Halloween!

They has ceramic pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, metal decorations that look like witch hats all kinds of things! Lots of stuff! They were not selling scary things just the cute and country kind of Halloween stuff. They had a ceramic mummy holding a sign that said "I want my mummy!". Old joke I know. I saw this one thing that was kind of spooky. A skeleton sitting behind a pumpkin with "Stay Out!" and stars carved on it. And he was holding a black candle. I think dead people with pumpkins are really corny but I could not help it. I just had to have it! I asked dad and he said it was ok and got it for me. I will put pictures here later. I went to Basketville to see if they had stuff for 4th of July and I found the Halloween stuff! I saw Halloween stuff at Basketville in summer before. But they had a lot of stuff this year. I think more than I saw them have before. We got a flag for 4th of July and got mom a CD and went home.

Not really. She hates scary stuff. And is sick of me always talking about Halloween and scary stuff. She does not hate Halloween though. My dad likes old scary movies and likes to help me with Halloween stuff.

Did anyone notice Bill Cosby in the background? My parents are always watching old shows.

About, oh, maybe a week ago I got these at Basketville.

The skull may look kind of like the silly Halloween type. But it lights up into different colors. It looks kind of scary then!

The pumpkin is a candle holder.
