I didn't care for that archaeology part at the beginning for a long time. But then one time I was watching the movie and something clicked and I loved it all of the sudden.Andybev01 wrote:Until I got the Exorcist DVD I had only seen the chopped up TV version and had not seen the opening sequence where the priest is at the archeology dig.
When the clock stopped it spooked me good!

Here is my list of the Top Ten Films that Scared Me the Most:
1. The Exorcist
2. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
3. Night of the Living Dead (original)
4. Open Water
5. The Descent
6. Aliens
7. The Blair Witch Project
8. The Funhouse
9. Black Sabbath
10. Jaws

Yeah, the book Pet Sematary is amazing, and definitely ranks among the most terrifying books I've read.
Oh man, only see Creepshow III if you liked the first two so much that you feel an obligation. Stephen King and George A. Romero had nothing to do with it, and it was made simply to make quick, easy money, and not to add anything to the series. It's not the unwatchable piece of junk that 99% of viewers thought it was, but it doesn't have a single suspenseful moment.

Re: Movie that Scares You the Most
I watched trailers for it but never saw it. It looked pretty darn scary to me.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...
