Halloween Heart Strings Gift Pictures

Post by Dutchess of Darkness » Tue Oct 02, 2007 6:32 am

Hey Everyone, I'm noticing that a lot of people are sending what I call "Heart Strings Gifts" these are gifts that you weren't expecting, a surprise gift, a gift from the heart, hence it's name, you know, when someone tugs at your heart. Anyways, I figured, since we already have a thread for posting our goodies from our Halloween Gift Exchange Partners it would be nice to have somewhere to post our other gifts recieved. So, if you recieve goodies from someone other then your Gift Exchange partner, have at it posting them here. :D

Here's what I bought my honey for Halloween. It's a Halloween Beer Tanker :D Well in his case Beer or Crown Royal. And some Chocolates, and the sweetest card. Hope he'll like it :D

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of what the inside of the card says, it says: Spooky, huh? Happy Halloween

I adore that card! It's such a cute message - I've never seen anything like that over here in the UK. The tankard is fantastic - where ever did you get it?? And I LOVE those orange Lindor chocolates!! They are soooo yummy. I used to work in an outlet that sold Lindt chocolate at special prices, and we got to take home £1.50's worth of chocolate every week! In October, we would get special Halloween Lindors in - they were Lindor balls with orange foil Jack O'Lantern wrappers, and the outside chocolate had crispy bits in and the inside was praline............ *yummmmm* :D

And here's a coincidence!!!

I got MY Heartstrings package from DOD today, too!!

A gorgeous cauldron that will look PERFECT on the Potions classroom shelves at the Potter Party!! Great little bats that hang from strings and wiggle with the slightest breath like they are going to fly away!! Black and orange tealights, aweome! And CHOCOLATES WRAPPED IN JOL FACES  what will they think of next, two of my favorite things, chocolate and pumpkins, together!!!

Thank you, thank you, DOD, you are very special to me. I really loved the card you sent, too. (Actually it gave me a great idea for the poetry thread  ). You really made my day, sweetie. Thanks a million!!

Hugs from Hooch

PS: here's the pic

MamaHooch, I'm so glad you liked everything & that it made your day. I really enjoyed shopping for you, and I thought that Cauldron might just fit in your Party theme :D Did you notice that creepy little spider in the bottom of the bowl
I just wish there was Harry Potter style decor stuff around here, all there seems to be this year is kids HP costumes and accessories...
