Wild Winds thou shalt blow
carry away my saddened soul
tis the time of Judgement
carry away my saddened soul
tis the time of Judgement

And when October goes
The snow begins to fly
Above the smokey roofs
I watch the planes go by
The children running home
Beneath a twilight sky
Oh, for the fun of them
When I was one of them
And when October goes
The same old dream appears
And you are in my arms
To share the happy years
I turn my head away
To hide the helpless tears
Oh how I hate to see October go
I should be over it now I know
It doesn't matter much
How old I grow
I hate to see October go

Nice one OEJ.....keep them coming!!!!
A Blanket of darkness covers the land
the midnight hour is well at hand
all that remains is one beacon of light
to keep away the unseen of the night
Suddenly a knocking was upon my door
not one knock not two but a total of four
away to the door I went with my treats
but when the door was open they did not
yell Trick Or Treat
There on the doorstep stood a large motley crew
so many in fact I wasnt sure what to do
Witches, goblins and ghosts all in line
I couldnt believe that many children would come out at this time
I reached in my treat bowl and started to serve
they grabbed them from my hand I say. What nerve
Where are your manners I said to this crowd
they seemed to ingnore me so I said it again loud
They all stoped and stared with a malicious grin
Thats when I sensed trouble was about to begin
The wtiches took to flight cackling with glee
The goblins then knocked down a tree
The ghosts started moaning and rattling their chain
I wasnt sure what these creatures had hoped to gain
I ran back in the house and slamed the door
I covered my head and dove on the floor
I could hear them outside tearing up the place
I thought of trying to stop them but instead covered my face
After awhile the noise outside abated
I went back to the door a little frustrated
My car was upside down out in the drive
covered in dents I stopped counting at five
the yard was covered in all kinds of debris
The place was a mess as I could plainly see
These were real monsters I should have known
and now they had destroyed part of my home
So next Halloween becareful what you say
these ghouls just might be headed your way

For our favorite horseman...
The Haunted Horseman rides
Death rings rhythmic beats
Gallops in mud and fright
The Haunted Horseman rides
Wearing fog and shadow
Gripping the reins tight
The Haunted Horseman rides
Nightly vigilance
The living his beacon
The Haunted Horseman rides
Comes a’ calling for souls
Lest by morning to weaken
The Haunted Horseman rides
Blood flows quicker
Before the night is through
The Haunted Horseman rides
Turn and see his stride
He comes for YOU
Death rings rhythmic beats
Gallops in mud and fright
The Haunted Horseman rides
Wearing fog and shadow
Gripping the reins tight
The Haunted Horseman rides
Nightly vigilance
The living his beacon
The Haunted Horseman rides
Comes a’ calling for souls
Lest by morning to weaken
The Haunted Horseman rides
Blood flows quicker
Before the night is through
The Haunted Horseman rides
Turn and see his stride
He comes for YOU
The dead have nothing to say
They lead boring afterlives
Just wailing and gossiping
About who’s next to rot
The dead are liars
You can’t believe a word
So angry they’re dead
And you’re not
The dead are perverts
Always peeping at you
In the shower
Or making love
The dead can’t dance
Just rattle chains about
And frankly, living here
It’s the dead I’m sick of
They lead boring afterlives
Just wailing and gossiping
About who’s next to rot
The dead are liars
You can’t believe a word
So angry they’re dead
And you’re not
The dead are perverts
Always peeping at you
In the shower
Or making love
The dead can’t dance
Just rattle chains about
And frankly, living here
It’s the dead I’m sick of
