HALLOWEEN ROCK GROUPS

Post by Haunted Horseman » Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:43 pm

Okay gang. What rock groups do you think exemplify Halloween? I'm going throw out a few to start (lets stick with the famous no obscure groups):

Black Sabbath
Kiss
Alice Cooper
Iron Maiden
Because once you cross that bridge, my friend, the ghost is through, his power ends.

I still LOVE KISS after all these years.

GWAR is about as strange as they come....I hate their music, but they definately fit the catagory.

Not that I've ever heard one of their songs but what about that band "Helloween"?

The Cramps are definitely Halloweenists.

Oh, and I'm a fellow Pacific Northwesterner. Greetings from Arcata, CA.
Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

BOO-YAH!!

Bonfires burning bright
Pumpkin faces in the night
I remember Halloween
Dead cats hanging from poles
Little dead are out in droves
I remember Halloween!

I can't get into Slipknot, they've got some pretty disturbing lyrics. And to be honest I won't listen to some Misfits stuff either, but most of that is Glen Danzig era. There's just so many times you can listen to songs about your mom giving the devil a lapdance in hell before you get tired of it all.

Alright Glen you're evil, WE GET IT!!!
