I love the vintage cards!
Those kids are creepy as heck. That last one--omg. Were they trying to pose their kids with Beelzebub? It looks downright Satanic.

I was more concerned with the look on the faces of the kids in that picture, it's the look of pure evil, like they know they are being prepared for a cult and they actually want to be there.
Anyway, here are some classic Halloween tv pictures with The Munsters, The Addams Family, Elvira, Yvonne Craig as Batgirl and more.

Aww, thanks for the Frasier pic! That was a great episode, a 2-parter from season 5, if memory serves. They had some great holiday episodes on Frasier. Their Valentines episodes were often superb, too.

I came across this last night, it's a Elvira comic series from the 80s, I knew about her later comics but I didn't know about this, probably because I was 4 when this came out in 86, and while I was already reading comics at that point, it was only superhero comics. The comic is like Tales From The Crypt with 3 scary stories in each issue, there was only 12 issues in the series so I sat there last night and read every issue online, and some of the stories were good. It's interesting that they released the Halloween issue in January though.

Re: Classic Halloween photos
Those are all great pics.
I wasn't big into comic books, but I do recall reading them on two cross country Greyhound bus trips in my childhood. In 1965 my mother took me from a family reunion in Alabama up to NYC. The next year we traveled by bus from my aunt's house in Arkansas out to Los Angeles (Arcadia really, near Pasadena). Trips like that take several days, and Mama would buy me reading material at the bus stops. I discovered those spooky comics. I don't recall the titles, but they could have been Tales from the Crypt. I enjoyed those quite a lot on those bus rides and still recall some of the stories.
