Although I was never a big fan of Black Sabbath, and only a bit of Ozzy's solo work, he was a big part of my childhood because one of my sister's would buy Black Sabbath albums, my mother would throw them away and then my sister would buy them again.
Ah, youth.
I did enjoy 'the Osborns' reality show. It was creepy and kooky.

R.I.P. Ozzy Osborne
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Oh, my, I missed hearing about this. A couple of other celebrities have also passed recently, Malcolm Jamal Warner, of course, and a country singer/ songwriter named Helen Cornelous who is much lamented around here. I didn't know much about Ozzy, but my impression of him was that he was a bit of a character, but seemed a lovable one.

Re: R.I.P. Ozzy Osborne
I heard about this the other day when it happened, I listened to some of his stuff when I was a teen, but he only had a few songs that I liked. He did have some very memorable moments in entertainment, and some great quotes, one of his most famous being ... "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most".
It's funny, when I heard he died I started to think of when he was involved in wrestling in 1986, and I heard that Hulk Hogan just died today. I guess the older stars from the 80s are on their way out.

Yeah, Hulk Hogan was 71, which doesn't sound as old to me now as it once did.
