It looks like the Halloween season is starting early this year

I don't know what it's like where you guys are, but I noticed that stores started putting out Halloween stuff on July 5th around here, and my local Michaels crafts store already has their Halloween village and decorations out, and usually they wait until next month to do it. Also, the trailer for the latest installment in the Halloween movie franchise just came out, so it looks like the Halloween season has started early this year. Let's hope that there's more Halloween fun on the way.

With my Morticia at work and my eldest goblin at band camp, it looks like it will be just me and my little goblin on my day off tomorrow, and we're going Halloweening! I'll let you know what we dig up.

I guess everyone is on summer vacation.

We have been going Halloween shopping every weekend, and this week we went to Spirit Halloween and we got some awesome new items there. As usual, they have a amazing selection, I already spent 200 bucks there and I know we will definitely be going back multiple times in the next few weeks.

I also saw the trailer for the Spirit Halloween movie, and The Munsters movie. Yes, there really is a Spirit Halloween movie and it looks like fun for the kids. The Munsters movie however looks terrible, the movie was supposed to be in theaters but it's going straight to Netflix and DVD, so that should give you some indication of how the company feels about the movie, we will just have to wait until it comes out to know just how awful it is.

I still haven't told the kids about Hocus Pocus 2, and the Wednesday Addams series yet because I want to surprise them when they come out.

I went back to Michaels and I got a pumpkin snowman, pictured below, it's only 3 inches tall but I want to make a full sized one for my yard this year, it should be fun.

It sounds like fun witchy, I hope everyone has a great time at the party.

My wife and I are already discussing what costumes we are going to wear this year, we always dress up as famous couples and we have been doing it for 14 years now. We have already dressed as some of the more famous couples, but we don't ever wear the same costumes twice so sometimes it's hard to come up with new ideas for characters.

This year we have come up with the following costumes listed below, but we don't know which we will choose yet. Let me know If any of you have a favorite from the list that you think we should dress as, any suggestions you may have are also welcome.

Beetlejuice and Lydia, the cartoon version, we already did the movie version.

J.D. and Veronica from the movie Heathers, We will probably dress as the end scene with my hand bandaged up and fake timer strapped to my chest, and I've been told that I do a good Slater impression.

Billy and Kate from Gremlins. These should be really easy costumes to do as most of the clothes are easily available, and we already have a stuffed Gizmo to carry around.

Hi I think I would lean to Beetlejuice and Lydia, the cartoon version, the others are cute but not enough to the costumes.

I absolutely agree, that's why it was first on the list, and we will most likely go with those costumes unless we come up with something better by then.

Well, there are Halloween decorations, ToT candy, and even pumpkins for sale all over town already. To boot, people are finally starting to come out of the Covid 19 shell, and it looks to be a pretty good year for Halloween.
