There are several recipes on line. I think I'll go with Paula Dean's because hers looks simplest. She doesn't work entirely from scratch.

Most of the deserts I make are from a mix. I do spaghettis, and macaroni & cheese from scratch.

I almost exclusively do desserts from scratch - cakes, cookies and pies for me. I usually do the turkey and ham (or similar). Then I let Maria or someone else do the other stuff. ;-)

I'm going to my brothers house for Thanksgiving this year. I will be making Rice Krispie Treats this year to bring. My sister is doing the turkey, and various others will be making all the other trimmings.

My contribution to the feast is going to be a focaccia bread stuffing.

Its easy and travels well.

That sounds yummy, Murf. I'm doing Krispie Cookies because that's what my sister asked me to made as she's going to be busy with the stuffing and turkey this year. Usually my sister in law does the turkey and stuffing, but she's been having some health issues so she will be doing Garlic Mashed Potatoes this year. Of course, I do plan to bring my camera.

I had cataract surgery two weeks ago and get the second eye done tomorrow, so I've been AWOL here. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

And you as well, Murf.

I began treatments for an eye condition that involves injections in each eye once a month for 6 months.

I feel your pain...literally.

Good luck with the eyes! I did LASIK about 15 years ago, hopefully it will be a while before I need cataract or anything else!

I had one eye injection back in 2012 to stop the progression of ocular histoplasmosis (autoimmune retinal disease). Getting the shots is not fun, but it's not terrible either. They have a procedure for it, and it is quick and doesn't hurt.

Hope you get the desired results, Andy!
