lookinjg to make a halloween circus tent but don't know where to start

ok so for the up coming halloween i want to decorate my yard with clowns and some other carnival decor but the thing i am having the most problem with is building a circus tent i keep seeing somethings on line about how to make them but almost all of them are to new looking which screams in my head as not creepy i see a creepy one being... i don't know maybe faded or staned or something to at least to make it look oldish so i figured i would wright on here to see if anyone had an idea that would spark some of my own ideas like i was thinking of just rubbing them in like dirt or somethig but would like another option because that just sounds not quite right.

Well, if you are making them of fabric, perhaps you could stain them with tea?
